Take advantage of this great opportunity. There will be an abundance of equipment to look at, and vendors to talk with. Lawson’s Open House will feature the latest garment decorating techniques to help you print better, work smarter and learn more. We'll offer information on how to improve all aspects of your screen print and direct-to-garment (DTG) quality. We will cover how to produce sharper prints on shirts, increase production and save money on supplies. Furthermore, special pricing will be available on equipment and supplies for those in attendance.

Secondly, there will be a free, extensive 90-minute CorelDRAW class. The CorelDRAW class is intended to maximize your Graphic abilities in CorelDraw. The class will outline many of the Corel tools used to produce quality production graphics for imprinters. In this class, we will walk through classic art steps in Corel beginning at an entry-level pace and ending with output options and print techniques. Drawing tools, Groups, Layers, Print Colors, and Bitmap to Vector Tracing will be covered in depth as well. As a relaxed class, there will be time for specific questions, and applicable examples. Optional Corel add-ons and software specifically designed to make Corel many times easier for those in the Imprint Industry will be demonstrated.
Clay Barbera is a certified Corel Trainer, specializing in the Imprint Industry since 2005. Proficient in all the art processes necessary for a successful imprint business, Clay focuses his design classes to the individuals who attend. Small screen print shops, large format print shops; embroidery, sublimation, vinyl, direct, laser, even offset, his courses and concepts prove to help build your business. With revenue growing ideas, timeless proven techniques, and the ability to tailor to each unique imprint company, Clay assures everyone will take something effective away from each of his events.
In the afternoon, Lawson and others will be running demonstrations. These demonstrations include artwork, screen preparation, manual and automatic screen printing presses. Also, maximizing production on conveyor dryers for plastisol and water-based ink, direct-to-garment print and pre-treat, computer-to-screen (CTS) and vinyl cutting applications. We encourage printers of all expertise levels to join us to talk to the many attending vendors and bring questions for answering. Hope to see you there!
