Questions & Answers

Where can I buy or arrange local pickup for the Geo. Knight 394-TS Shuttle Press?
You can order online and coordinate local pickup or freight delivery through Lawson Screen & Digital Products headquarters in St. Louis, MO, or our Atlanta branch in Marietta, GA. Local service coordination is also available through technical centers in Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines.

Does the Geo. Knight 394-TS require an external air compressor?
Yes. To drive its automatic top-down pneumatic clamping mechanism and deliver high pressure across both workstations, the 394-TS requires an external air compressor line (operating at 80–100 PSI).

How does a twin-station shuttle press increase output?
A twin-station shuttle eliminates operator wait time. While Station A is clamped under the heat platen completing its cycle, the operator loads and aligns the next garment on Station B. Once the timer finishes, the shuttle table slides across, immediately starting the next press cycle.

What platen sizes are available for the 394-TS?
The Geo. Knight 394-TS is available in two workstation size configurations: twin 16" x 20" platens or twin 20" x 25" platens.

What electrical requirements are needed for this machine?
Due to its heavy commercial heating capacity and automated systems, the 394-TS typically requires a 208V–240V single-phase electrical outlet drawing 20 to 30 amps depending on the platen size selected.

Description

Ready to completely eliminate operator downtime, pressing delays, and physical exhaustion from your industrial print facility? The Geo. Knight 394-TS Air Operated Heat Shuttle Press is a heavy-duty, ultra-high-production automatic workhorse engineered by Geo. Knight & Co. for the most demanding commercial environments. Built with a solid steel and cast iron four-post stationary frame, this USA-made heavy industrial press features twin-shuttle dual workstations riding on a smooth roller bearing slide rail, allowing a single operator to load and unload garments seamlessly while the opposite table is actively being pressed under the heat platen.

The core production advantage of the Digital Knight 394-TS lies in its heavy pneumatic output and dual-station cycling. Equipped with a top-down, air-operated clamping mechanism, this machine generates intense, perfectly uniform pressure—ideal for high-volume Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, screen printed transfers, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), sublimation blanks, and heavy patches. It utilizes patented SuperCoil-Microwinding™ heater technology inside an ultra-thick, Teflon-coated heat platen, guaranteeing absolute edge-to-edge heat uniformity without structural cold spots. Operators can effortlessly roll the shuttle table side-to-side, maximizing hourly garment throughput while maintaining perfect alignment.

Permanently mounted on heavy-duty industrial locking casters, this 850 lb automatic powerhouse features OSHA-approved dual-safety button operation controls and an advanced digital controller with 70 programmable presets, giving your print facility maximum output, complete operator safety, and true commercial durability.
