Description

Ready to scale your garment production while maximizing workflow safety and efficiency? The Prisma Auto Heat Press 16" x 20" by DTF Station is a premium, high-performance commercial heat press engineered to handle the intense demands of busy custom apparel shops. Boasting a heavy-duty 16" x 20" master heat platen, this sleek, industrial-grade machine distributes perfectly uniform thermal energy up to 430°F, making it highly optimized for applying Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, Direct-to-Garment (DTG) prints, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), screen printed transfers, and dye sublimation.

The core production advantage of the Prisma Auto Heat Press lies in its advanced, worker-friendly automation features. Equipped with the patented RAMSPIN system, operators can seamlessly toggle between automated auto-release and standard manual configurations. When the digital timer hits zero, the electromagnetic auto-open latch releases smoothly without requiring an external air compressor—preventing over-application and scorched inventory if you step away. Additionally, the integrated slide-out drawer mechanism pulls the lower platen completely forward so you can align graphics safely without risking hand burns from the upper heating element. Featuring a laser-cut, fully dressable lower platen base, you can split and thread garments cleanly over the bed to drop bulky seams out of the path, guaranteeing consistent, edge-to-edge pressure readings on every press.

Questions & Answers

Where can I buy or pick up the Prisma Auto Heat Press 16" x 20" locally?

You can place your order online and select convenient local pickup at either the Lawson Screen & Digital Products corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO, or our Atlanta branch in Marietta, GA. Local pickup can also be coordinated through our satellite technical centers in Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines.

Does the Prisma Auto Heat Press require an external air compressor?

No, the Prisma Auto Heat Press utilizes an electromagnetic auto-open release system that operates on standard electrical power alone, eliminating the need for a noisy air compressor.

What is the benefit of the slide-out drawer mechanism?

The slide-out lower platen pulls completely forward toward the operator, creating a safe, heat-free layout zone away from the top platen. This allows you to position transfers accurately without risking hand burns.

What does "dressable base" mean and how does it help?

A dressable base allows you to split and thread a shirt or hoodie over the lower platen so only one side sits on the pressing surface. This prevents back seams, collars, or zippers from interfering with flat, uniform pressure across the transfer area.

What type of transfers can I press with this machine?

The Prisma Auto Press is designed for high-volume commercial decoration, including Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, DTG ink curing, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), screen printed transfers, white toner transfers, and dye sublimation.
