Description

Scale your Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfer production and eliminate continuous manual bottlenecks with the APEX Max Roll to Roll 16” x 20” Automatic DTF Heat Press (XR1620) by Microtec USA, exclusively distributed and supported across North America by Lawson Workhorse Group (LWG). Engineered specifically for high-volume DTF transfer roll applications, continuous gang sheet processing, full-chest apparel graphics, and wide-format web transfers, the XR1620 handles automatic film feeding, precision optical tracking, pressing, peeling, and continuous roll collection in one seamless workflow.

Featuring an oversized 15.7” x 19.7” active heating platen, the APEX Max Roll to Roll 16" x 20" accommodates adult garment chest prints, oversized jacket backs, hoodies, and wide DTF gang sheets without sacrificing press speed or transfer quality. Its advanced CPC 200T electronic deviation control system actively monitors film tracking during long production runs, preventing costly misalignment and ruined garments. Additionally, the left-right sliding loading base allows operators to safely prep garments while the press continues its automated cycle.

Whether your commercial print shop, contract decorating facility, or apparel fulfillment center is operating in St. Louis, Atlanta, Chicago, or anywhere nationwide, the APEX Max Roll to Roll 16" x 20" Heat Press delivers industrial-grade automation designed to maximize daily profitability.

Questions & Answers

What is the APEX Max Roll to Roll 16" x 20" Heat Press best used for?

The APEX Max Roll to Roll 16" x 20" Heat Press is engineered for high-volume automated application of wide-format roll-fed Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, full-chest graphics, oversized jacket backs, hoodies, and continuous multi-up transfer gang sheets.

How does the machine prevent film misalignments during long production runs?

The XR1620 model features the advanced CPC 200T electronic deviation control system paired with optical sensors. This active tracking system continuously monitors film alignment as it feeds off the supply roll and automatically corrects tracking before the film enters the heat press platen.

What is the difference between the 15" x 15" and 16" x 20" APEX Max Roll to Roll models?

While both machines automate film feeding and pressing, the 16" x 20" model features a larger 15.7" x 19.7" heating platen to accommodate wider roll widths and larger garment graphics (such as full-size adult chest prints and back prints). It also utilizes the upgraded CPC 200T deviation control system for tracking wider film rolls.

Does the APEX Max Roll to Roll 16" x 20" require compressed air?

Yes. The machine utilizes pneumatic pressure to deliver uniform, heavy-duty downward clamping pressure across the entire 16" x 20" platen area. An industrial air compressor (available through LWG) is required for operation.

Where can I obtain technical service and replacement parts?

When purchased through Lawson Workhorse Group (LWG), your equipment is backed by US-based factory-trained technicians and fast replacement parts dispatched from regional hubs in St. Louis, MO, Atlanta, GA, Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines.
