Description

Tired of performing two independent press cycles just to apply a chest logo and a custom neck label? The Hotronix® GK Tag Along™ HP Platen by Stahls' Hotronix is a patented, game-changing heat press accessory engineered to combine two steps into one seamless application. This innovative dual-zone lower platen features a primary layout area for your main full-front graphic, along with a specialized secondary area to print tagless shirt labels simultaneously.

The standout benefit of the GK Tag Along Platen is its immediate impact on shop throughput. By threading a garment onto the platen, you completely isolate the collar area, allowing you to heat print a full-front design and an inner shirt brand label at the exact same time. It is highly optimized for applying Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, screen printed transfers, HTV, and dye sublimation. This setup prevents the common neck-tag indentation or exterior bleed-through that can occur when manually positioning graphics. Compatible with most 16" x 20" Hotronix heat presses, this commercial-grade aluminum accessory lets a single operator finish custom-branded garments twice as fast.

Questions & Answers

Where can I buy or pick up the Hotronix GK Tag Along Platen locally?
You can place your order online and choose convenient local pickup at either the Lawson Screen & Digital Products corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO, or our Atlanta area branch in Marietta, GA. Pickup coordination is also available through satellite centers in Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines.

Which heat press models are compatible with the GK Tag Along Platen?
The Tag Along Platen is compatible with most 16" x 20" Stahls' Hotronix heat presses, including the Hotronix Fusion IQ, Air Fusion IQ, Dual Air Fusion IQ, and 16" x 20" Auto Clam models.

How does the GK Tag Along Platen double production output?
By allowing the operator to position and press the main front transfer and the inside neck brand label at the exact same time, it cuts shirt handling time in half and eliminates the need for a secondary press station.

Does the platen work with DTF transfers and screen print transfers?
Yes. The platen provides uniform heat across both zones, making it fully compatible with Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, screen printed transfers, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), and dye sublimation.

How does this platen prevent neck tag indentations on the back of shirts?
The raised tag area holds the neck seamless and flat while allowing the rest of the collar to drop down, preventing thick seams from pressing through and creating unwanted press lines or shine marks on the shirt.
