Questions & Answers

Where can I buy or pick up the Hotronix GK Tag Along Platen locally?

You can place your order online and choose convenient local pickup at either the Lawson Screen & Digital Products corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO (Penrose Street) or our Atlanta area branch in Marietta, GA (Cobb Industrial Drive). Local pickup can also be coordinated through our satellite offices in Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines.

How does the Tag Along platen save production time?

In a standard apparel workflow, branding a shirt with an inner tagless label requires loading the shirt, pressing it, unloading it, flipping it inside out, and pressing it a second time. The Tag Along platen allows you to apply both the front graphic and the neck label in a single press cycle, cutting your finishing department's labor time in half.

Which Hotronix heat press models are compatible with this platen?

This platen is engineered for standard threadability and fits seamlessly onto major 16" x 20" Hotronix heat presses, including the Hotronix Fusion IQ, the Hotronix Air Fusion IQ, the Dual Air Fusion IQ, and the Hotronix Auto Clam (16" x 20" model).

What are the exact printable dimensions of the two application zones?

The platen features a generous 16" x 15" lower layout section designed for full-front t-shirt designs, hoodie graphics, and large transfers. Seamlessly attached at the top is a dedicated 3.25" x 4.75" tag insert area that cleanly isolates the shirt collar to apply custom size, brand, and care labels.

Can I finance the Hotronix GK Tag Along HP Platen?

Yes, commercial equipment and accessory financing options are available to help your custom apparel shop scale up smoothly. You can submit an application quickly and securely via our Lawson financing page.

Hotronix GK Tag Along HP Platen (Dual-Zone Design & Label Platen)

Tired of performing two independent press cycles just to apply a chest logo and a custom neck label? The Hotronix GK Tag Along HP Platen by Stahls' Hotronix is a patented, game-changing heat press accessory engineered to combine two steps into one seamless application. This innovative dual-zone lower platen features a primary layout area for your main full-front graphic, along with a specialized secondary area to print tagless shirt labels simultaneously.

The standout benefit of the GK Tag Along Platen is its immediate impact on shop throughput. By threading a garment onto the platen, you completely isolate the collar area, allowing you to heat print a full-front design and an inner shirt brand label at the exact same time. It is highly optimized for applying DTF transfers, screen printed transfers, HTV, and sublimation. This setup prevents the common neck-tag indentation or exterior bleed-through that can occur when manually positioning graphics.

Compatible with most 16" x 20" Hotronix heat presses, this commercial-grade aluminum accessory lets a single operator finish custom-branded garments twice as fast.
