Description

Eliminate print shop bottlenecks and fully automate your Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfer workflow with the APEX X-Peel Pro Fully Automatic Peeler and Unloader by Microtec USA, exclusively distributed and supported across North America by Lawson Workhorse Group (LWG). Designed to integrate seamlessly with the APEX X6 Rotary Heat Press and APEX X4 Rotary Heat Press, the X-Peel Pro automatically strips transfer carrier film sheets and unloads finished garments without requiring a dedicated human operator.

Equipped with high-precision optical sensors and adjustable pneumatic speed controls, the APEX X-Peel Pro delivers flawless film peeling for both hot-peel and cold-peel DTF film formulations. By instantly matching the speed of multi-station rotary heat presses—handling throughput up to 420 garments per hour—this heavy-duty automatic peeler reduces labor overhead, prevents garment scorching, and ensures smooth, tear-free transfer edges job after job.

Whether your commercial print facility is operating in Chicago, St. Louis, Atlanta, or anywhere across North America, the APEX X-Peel Pro transforms your rotary press into an autonomous, labor-saving production line.

Questions & Answers

What does the APEX X-Peel Pro do?

The APEX X-Peel Pro is an automated auxiliary module that mounts to your rotary heat press. It automatically grabs and peels off the DTF transfer film sheet and unloads the finished apparel item off the platen, removing the need for a dedicated manual operator.

Is the APEX X-Peel Pro compatible with both hot-peel and cold-peel DTF film?

Yes! The X-Peel Pro features adjustable pneumatic pulling tension and variable speed timing. This allows operators to easily calibrate the machine for instant hot-peel film extractions or delayed cold-peel film cycles.

Which heat presses work with the APEX X-Peel Pro?

The X-Peel Pro is engineered for direct compatibility with the APEX X6 Rotary Heat Press and APEX X4 Rotary Heat Press. It can also be adapted to select commercial multi-station carousel heat presses.

Does the X-Peel Pro require an air compressor?

Yes. The APEX X-Peel Pro utilizes pneumatic cylinders for smooth film gripping and unloader motion. An industrial air compressor (available through LWG) is required for operation.

How much labor does the APEX X-Peel Pro save?

By automating both the film peeling step and garment unloading step, the APEX X-Peel Pro effectively reduces the required heat press crew from two operators down to one single loading technician—slashing labor costs by up to 50% per shift.
