Description

Maximize your large-format dye sublimation capacity and eliminate production bottlenecks with the ATLAS ULTRA 40" x 48" Pneumatic Sublimation Double Station Heat Press. Built specifically for high-volume textile printers, athletic apparel manufacturers, and custom signage decorators, this industrial heat press combines an expansive 39.4" X 47.2" upper heating platen with an automated reciprocating dual-station shuttle system.

The dual pneumatic cylinder drive exerts heavy, edge-to-edge pressure across the entire pressing area, eliminating cold spots, light transfers, and ghosting on large transfers. With its alternating tray workflow, a single operator can prep and load incoming garments or oversized gang sheets on one station while the other presses. This continuous cycle drastically increases turnaround speeds for print operations across the Midwest, Southeast, and nationwide.

The LWG Difference

When you invest in industrial production machinery from Lawson Workhorse Group (LWG), you get far more than hardware—you gain a dedicated technical partner backed by decades of screen printing and digital decorating expertise. Your purchase is supported by our primary distribution center in California alongside regional technical support hubs in St. Louis, Atlanta, Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines. From installation guidance to long-term replacement parts, LWG ensures your shop maintains maximum uptime and profitability.

Features

  • Large-Format 40" X 48" Platen Area: Expansive heat platen easily accommodates oversized gang sheets, full-bleed athletic jerseys, flags, and custom print panels.
  • Automatic Dual-Station Shuttle Workflow: Alternating reciprocating tray system allows continuous loading and unloading while pressing, eliminating operator downtime.
  • Dual Pneumatic Cylinder Pressure System: Heavy-duty pneumatic air cylinders deliver consistent, repeatable downward pressure across the entire 39.4" X 47.2" pressing surface.
  • Precision Digital PLC Controller: Microprocessor panel ensures precise dwell-time accuracy and uniform heating for synthetic fabrics and delicate substrates.
  • Single-Operator Efficiency: Automated shuttle movement reduces physical strain, operator fatigue, and multi-shift labor overhead.

Questions & Answers

What print applications are best suited for the ATLAS ULTRA 40" x 48" Heat Press?

The press is designed for large-format dye sublimation, including full-bleed athletic jerseys, oversized gang sheets, flags, banners, and large aluminum or fabric print panels.

How does the reciprocating dual-station shuttle system improve productivity?

The alternating dual-station trays allow a single operator to load and align the next garment or substrate on one station while the press active cycle completes on the other, maintaining continuous workflow without idle machine time.

What type of pressure system does the machine use?

It utilizes dual pneumatic air cylinders to deliver heavy, edge-to-edge pressure evenly across the full $39.4" \times 47.2"$ heated platen surface.

Does the ATLAS ULTRA heat press require an air compressor?

Yes, as a pneumatic heat press, it requires an external air compressor (sold separately) to drive the dual air cylinders and shuttle operation.

Where does the ATLAS ULTRA ship from and how is technical service supported?

Orders ship from the primary distribution hub in California, supported by regional technical service teams located across St. Louis, Atlanta, Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines.
