AlbaChem® DFR Direct to Film Remover – The Ultimate "Undo" Button for DTF
Mistakes happen, but they shouldn't cost you a garment. AlbaChem® DFR (Direct to Film Remover) is the industry's first solvent specifically engineered to handle the unique challenges of DTF (Direct to Film) transfers.
While standard vinyl removers struggle with the thick ink layers and specialized adhesives used in DTF, DFR penetrates deep into the binder to lift away prints cleanly, leaving your garment ready for a do-over.
Why Choose DFR?
- DTF-Specific Formula: Unlike general solvents, DFR is chemically balanced to break down DTF ink binders and adhesives without damaging the fabric.
- No Greasy Residue: DFR is completely water-soluble. It rinses out easily, ensuring that your next transfer adheres perfectly without "ghosting" or peeling.
- Fast-Acting & Powerful: Simply apply, wait a few minutes, and watch the transfer peel away.
- Low Odor & Safe: Formulated for professional print shops, DFR has a milder scent than industrial thinners and is safe for use on cotton, polyester, and blends.
How to Use:
- Apply to Back: Turn the garment inside out and apply DFR to the fabric directly behind the mistake.
- Wait: Let the solvent dwell for 1–3 minutes. This allows the chemistry to "digest" the adhesive bond.
- Peel: Gently pull the transfer away from the front of the garment.
- Clean & Dry: Use a clean cloth with a drop of DFR to wipe away any remaining residue. Rinse with water or use your heat press to dry the area before re-pressing your new design.
Technical Specs:
- Size: 32 fl. oz. (Quart)
- Compatibility: DTF Transfers, DTG (Direct to Garment) ink, and some Screen Print Transfers.
- Safety: Always test on an inconspicuous area of the garment before full application.
Pro Tip: For the best results, catch your mistakes early! While DFR works on cured prints, it is most effective on transfers applied within the last 48 hours.
Don't let a misprint eat your margins. Keep a bottle of AlbaChem DFR at your press station and save your shirts!
