Questions & Answers

Where can I buy or pick up the Prisma Dual Heat Press locally?
You can place your order online and choose convenient local pickup at either the Lawson Screen & Digital Products corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO, or our Atlanta branch in Marietta, GA. Local pickup can also be coordinated through satellite technical support centers in Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines.

How does a dual-station heat press increase output?
A dual-station press eliminates operator downtime. While the heating element is pressing a transfer on Station A, the operator is loading, alignment-checking, and prepping the garment on Station B. Once the press finishes, the head moves directly over to Station B, doubling production capacity.

What does "dressable platen" mean?
A dressable platen allows you to split and thread a shirt or hoodie over the lower bed frame so only one layer of fabric sits on top. This prevents zippers, seams, or buttons on the back of the garment from causing uneven pressure or cold spots across your graphic layout.

What types of transfers can I press with the Prisma Dual Heat Press?
The Prisma Dual Heat Press is built for high-volume commercial decoration, including Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, DTG post-curing, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), screen printed transfers, white toner transfers, and full dye sublimation.

What electrical utilities are required for the Prisma Dual Heat Press?
Because this machine powers dual commercial heating surfaces and motorized shuttle operations, it typically requires a dedicated 220V electrical setup.

Description

Ready to supercharge your garment production lines and completely eliminate custom apparel finishing bottlenecks? The Prisma Dual Heat Press by DTF Station is an industrial-grade, high-capacity production powerhouse engineered for shops that demand maximum hourly throughput and flawless execution. Featuring a heavy-duty, twin-bed layout, this advanced machine enables dual-station productivity, allowing a single operator to continuously load, prep, and align garments on one bed while the press automatically completes the heat application cycle on the other.

Built around dual 16" x 20" workstations, the Prisma Dual Press features an electric-powered shuttle head that moves smoothly between stations without requiring heavy manual swinging. The heating element provides precise thermal distribution up to 430°F, making it perfectly optimized for applying Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, Direct-to-Garment (DTG) prints, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), screen-printed transfers, and dye sublimation. Both lower beds feature a fully dressable platen design, allowing operators to easily thread shirts, hoodies, and jackets over the frame to drop thick seams, collars, and buttons out of the way for smooth, uniform pressure. With dual emergency stop controls and a responsive digital touchscreen interface, this press brings high-speed commercial automation directly to your production floor.
