Questions & Answers

Where can I buy Multi-Tech Violet Dynamic Ink locally for quick pickup?

You can order Multi-Tech Violet DI-117 online and pick it up in as little as 1 hour. Local pickup is available at our St. Louis, MO headquarters (5110 Penrose St.) and our Atlanta/Marietta, GA location (1147 Cobb Industrial Drive).

Does Lawson offer free shipping on the Violet DI-117 plastisol ink?

Yes! Lawson offers Free Shipping on screen printing supply orders over $150. If you are located near our satellite offices in Phoenix, Orlando, or Des Moines, or anywhere else nationwide, you can bundle your Violet ink with other Dynamic Plastisol Inks to qualify for free freight.

What is the correct curing temperature for Multi-Tech Violet DI - 117?

This ink cures efficiently at a temperature range of 270°F to 310°F. Always ensure your conveyor dryer or flash cure unit reaches this internal temperature across the entire ink film, and pretest your specific garment before starting a full production run.

Can I use this violet ink on polyester blends and synthetic fabrics?

Yes, Violet DI-117 is formulated for all fabric types and features fair-to-good bleed resistance. However, when screen printing on heavy polyester or poly-blends prone to dye migration, we highly recommend printing a low-bleed white base—like DI - 1550 LB Plus White—underneath your violet ink for optimal color pop and protection.

How should I store the Dynamic Ink to maximize its shelf life?

Keep your ink stored in a relatively cool environment below 95°F (35°C). Ensure the containers are kept out of direct sunlight and away from extreme heat sources (like flash units or dryers in your shop) to prevent the plastisol from partially gelling in the bucket. Always stir the ink thoroughly before each use.
