KEEP IT CONTAINED
Keep powder in its original container with the lid securely closed when not in use.
USE PROPER VENTILATION
Work in a well-ventilated area and use the filtration system on your shaker.
USE BUILT-IN FILTRATION
LWG shakers utilize HEPA and activated-carbon filters to help capture fine particles and reduce odors during curing.
WEAR APPROPRIATE PPE
Use gloves, safety glasses and appropriate respiratory protection when the SDS or dust conditions call for it.
CLEAN IT CORRECTLY
Use a suitable HEPA-filtered vacuum for escaped powder and spills.
WASH UP
Wash hands after handling powder and before eating, drinking or touching your face.

Avoid sweeping methods that send settled powder back into the air.
DON'T EAT OR DRINK AROUND POWDER
Keep food, beverages, smoking and vaping products away from powder-handling areas.
DON'T CURE IN AN UNVENTILATED LIVING SPACE
Avoid bedrooms, kitchens and other enclosed living areas without appropriate filtration and ventilation.
DON'T ASSUME “NO SMELL” MEANS “NO EXPOSURE”
Not all airborne contaminants can be detected by smell.
DON'T IGNORE FILTER MAINTENANCE
Inspect and replace HEPA and carbon filters according to the equipment manufacturer's recommendations.

Best starting point: keep powder in its original closed container. For secondary containment, consider a sealed Rubbermaid-style tote with a tight-fitting lid, a gasket-sealed storage tote, or a sealed 5-gallon bucket with a lid. Secondary containment can help protect against spills, contamination and moisture while reducing the chance of loose powder becoming airborne.

| 🏠 PRINTING DTF AT HOME? |
Treat a home DTF workspace with the same care as a commercial shop. Whenever practical, use a dedicated garage, workshop or print room; keep powder sealed when not in use; maintain good housekeeping; provide appropriate ventilation; and keep the process separated from bedrooms, kitchens, children's play areas and pets.
Consider an air scrubber. For home or enclosed workspaces, a properly selected air scrubber with suitable particulate filtration—and, where appropriate, activated-carbon filtration—can be an additional layer of air cleaning. It should supplement, not replace, source control, the shaker's filtration, ventilation and SDS/equipment guidance.
