Lawson Has The Best Fine Ground DTF Transfer Powder
This Direct-to-Film (DTF) fine heat transfer powder (Transdust Transfer Powder) is a universal powder that works with white and black garments. This polyurethane hot-melt powder has special dye-migration blockers so it can work on dark color polyester shirts. With a low melt point, Lawson's DTF transfer powder applies with a lower temperature and quick heat press onto the garment.
The fine ground DTF powder provides a better feel to the finished product.
Lawson Transfer DTG Powder is Oeko-Tex Eco Passport Certified.
How to Use - Directions for Use
- Print DTF ink onto your DTF Film.
- Coat ink and film in Lawson's DTF powder.
- Shake off excess powder.
- Set your heat press to 275 - 300 degrees and hover heat press over the film for about 2.5 - 3 minutes to melt the powder. You want the powdered glue to melt evenly. For a quicker melt, use the American DTF Cure Box or Kick-Start DTF Conveyor.
- Your DTF transfer can now be pressed onto your shirt or stored for later use.
These directions were created using Lawson's DTF Transfer Powder and Lawson's DTF Film. Using other brands many vary these instructions. Testing prior to production is always recommended.
Powder Stuck Together
The drum of powder was clumped and stuck together bad, having to manually sift it and break it up.
Lawson Screen & Digital Products
Sorry to hear about this. DTF powder can sometimes clump together when exposed to high humidity. Luckily, it is easily broken up by poking it with a stick or stirring it.
