Questions & Answers

What type of screen printing ink is Lilac DI-603?
Lilac DI-603 is a low-cure Dynamic plastisol screen printing ink matched to Pantone 256C, providing semi-opaque lilac coverage with fair to good bleed resistance on polyester, 50/50 blends, and other fabrics.

What fabrics is this ink best suited for?
This ink can be used on a wide range of fabrics, including polyester, blends, and cotton; for soft-hand coverage, Lawson recommends 196 to 305 monofilament mesh, and you should always pretest to confirm suitability and print parameters.

What are the recommended flash and cure temperatures?
Flash Lilac DI-603 at approximately 220°F for 3–5 seconds and fully cure at 270–280°F to achieve optimal adhesion and low-cure performance.

Is this ink press-ready and safe to use?
Yes. Dynamic inks are non-phthalate and lead-free, with a creamy, press-ready consistency straight from the bucket, minimizing the need for heavy modification in most print shops.

Can I use this ink for print-flash-print and wet-on-wet?
Absolutely. Lilac DI-603 flashes quickly, making it suitable for print-flash-print over a white underbase, and it can also be run wet-on-wet depending on your mesh counts, artwork, and press setup—always pretest before full production.

Q: How do I clean up after printing with this ink?
A: Use a press wash or Thinner DT for on-press color changes and an ink degradant when reclaiming screens; you can either save the stencil or fully reclaim the screen according to your standard process.

Do you offer local pickup in St. Louis, MO and Marietta, GA?
Yes. Lilac DI-603 is available for pickup at our St. Louis, MO headquarters and our Marietta, GA Atlanta-area office, where orders are usually ready in about one hour, in addition to convenient nationwide shipping options.

How should I store this ink for best results?
Store the ink at room temperature below 95°F, away from extreme heat and direct sunlight, and use within one year of the manufacturing date for consistent printing performance

Dynamic Ink Lilac DI-603 (Pantone 256C) is a low-cure plastisol screen printing ink that delivers soft, semi-opaque lilac coverage with fair to good bleed resistance on polyester, 50/50 blends, and other fabrics. Curing at just 270–280°F, this ink helps minimize dye migration on challenging “bleeder” garments while maintaining a smooth, soft-hand finish. With a semi-gloss look and creamy, press-ready consistency, Lilac DI-603 is ideal for fashion prints, highlight colors, and delicate designs where clean pastel lilac tones are important.

All inks in the Dynamic Series are non-phthalate and lead-free, offering vibrant color and reliable performance straight from the bucket. Lilac DI-603 flashes quickly, enabling efficient print-flash-print or wet-on-wet production over a white underbase, depending on your artwork and mesh counts. Use any standard direct emulsion or capillary film stencil, enjoy minimal ink build-up on screen, and get excellent mileage—approximately 800–1,750 sq. ft. per gallon—across a variety of textile substrates. Clean-up is simple with Thinner DT or any conventional plastisol wash-up system and ink degradant, so you can either save the stencil or fully reclaim the frame.

Lawson ships Lilac DI-603 to screen printers nationwide and offers convenient local pickup at our St. Louis, MO headquarters and Marietta, GA Atlanta-area office, where most orders are ready in about one hour after processing. Whether your shop is in the St. Louis or Atlanta metro areas, or anywhere across the United States, this low-cure lilac plastisol ink gives you soft color, dependable bleed control, and consistent results on a wide range of screen printing jobs.
