Questions & Answers

What type of screen printing ink is Orange DI-124 LB?
Orange DI-124 LB is a low-bleed, low-cure Dynamic plastisol screen printing ink matched to PMS Orange 021, designed for high-opacity orange prints on polyester, 50/50 blends, and other fabrics.

What fabrics is this ink best suited for?
This ink is ideal for all polyester and other bleed-prone garments, and it can also be used on many cotton and cotton-blend fabrics; always pretest to confirm suitability and print parameters before production.

What are the recommended flash and cure temperatures?
Flash at approximately 220°F for 3–5 seconds, then fully cure Orange DI-124 LB at 270–280°F to achieve optimal adhesion, durability, and low-bleed performance.

Is this ink press-ready and safe to use?
Yes. Dynamic inks are non-phthalate and lead-free, with a creamy, press-ready consistency straight from the bucket, so you can print smoothly without heavy modification in most setups.

Can I use this ink for print-flash-print and wet-on-wet?
Absolutely. The ink flashes quickly for print-flash-print over a white underbase, and you can also run wet-on-wet depending on mesh counts, artwork, and your press configuration—always pretest before full runs.

How do I clean up after printing with this ink?
Use Thinner DT or any conventional plastisol press wash for on-press color changes, and an ink degradant when reclaiming screens; you can either save the stencil or fully reclaim the frame based on your process.

Do you offer local pickup in St. Louis, MO and Marietta, GA?
Yes. Orange DI-124 LB is available for pickup at our St. Louis, MO headquarters and our Marietta, GA Atlanta-area office, where orders are usually ready in about one hour, in addition to convenient nationwide shipping options.

How should I store this ink for best results?
Store the ink in a relatively cool area below 95°F, away from extreme heat and direct sunlight, and use within one year of the manufacturing date for consistent printing performance.

Dynamic Ink Orange DI-124 LB (PMS Orange 021) is a low-bleed, low-cure plastisol screen printing ink engineered for bright, high-opacity orange prints on polyester, 50/50 blends, and other challenging “bleeder” fabrics. Curing at just 270–280°F, this ink helps control dye migration and fabric scorching while delivering smooth coverage, excellent bleed resistance, and a soft-hand finish on performance and team apparel. With a semi-gloss look and creamy, press-ready body, Orange DI-124 LB is ideal for sportswear, spirit wear, and fashion prints that need bold, durable PMS Orange 021 color on dark or synthetic garments.

All inks in the Dynamic Series are non-phthalate and lead-free, flashing quickly for efficient print-flash-print or wet-on-wet printing over a white underbase. Use standard direct emulsion or capillary film stencils, enjoy minimal ink build-up on screen, and get excellent mileage—approximately 800–1,750 sq. ft. per gallon—on a wide range of fabrics. Clean-up is simple with Thinner DT or any conventional plastisol wash-up system and ink degradant, allowing you to save the stencil or fully reclaim the screen depending on your workflow.

Lawson ships Orange DI-124 LB to screen printers nationwide and offers fast local pickup at our St. Louis, MO headquarters and Marietta, GA Atlanta-area office, where most orders are ready in about one hour after processing. Whether your shop is in the St. Louis or Atlanta metro areas, or anywhere across the United States, this low-cure orange plastisol ink provides the opacity, bleed resistance, and reliable performance you need for professional screen printing results.
