Description

The CTS Wax-Jet Printer is a high-performance Computer-to-Screen (CTS) digital imaging system engineered to optimize pre-press workflows for screen printing operations. By applying high-density wax-based ink directly onto emulsion-coated screens, this system completely eliminates film positives, vacuum exposure delays, and film alignment labor. The CTS Wax-Jet accelerates turnaround times, reduces exposure durations, and delivers distortion-free screen imaging to streamline continuous digital production.

The LWG Difference

  • Film-Free Pre-Press Workflow: Completely eliminates consumable film positives and manual taping labor to lower operational expenses and accelerate setup times.
  • Reduced Exposure Durations: Direct wax-jet technology allows faster exposure times on the light table without light bleed or line distortion.
  • Distortion-Free Image Transfer: Direct digital imaging eliminates vacuum blanket distortion, maintaining sharp dot retention and true-to-file registration.
  • Direct Factory Backup & Support: Fully backed by LWG with expert technical service, equipment installation, operator training, and nationwide parts support.

Features

  • High-Density Wax Application: Applies light-blocking wax ink directly to screen mesh for clean exposure results.
  • Faster Turnaround Times: Streamlines screen preparation by removing intermediate film printing, drying, and taping steps.
  • Seamless Digital Integration: Directly integrates into artwork and RIP software workflows for fast job processing.
  • Precision Micro-Registration: Delivers reliable color-to-color alignment across multi-color screen sets.
  • Reduced Screen Handling: Minimizes manual touchpoints to protect emulsion coatings from scratches and dust contamination.

Questions & Answers

Q: Does the CTS Wax-Jet Printer require film positives?
A: No, the CTS Wax-Jet prints high-density wax ink directly onto emulsion-coated screens, completely eliminating film positives and film handling costs.

Q: How does the CTS Wax-Jet improve exposure times?
A: Because the wax ink sits directly on top of the emulsion with zero space or film barrier between them, UV light exposes the screen faster and crisper with reduced exposure times and no light bleeding.

Q: Can the CTS Wax-Jet integrate into my existing pre-press digital workflow?
A: Yes, the machine interfaces directly with pre-press graphic and RIP software, serving as an integral digital hub between graphic design and screen exposure.

Q: Where can I get training, support, and parts for the CTS Wax-Jet Printer?
A: Full technical support, setup guidance, training, and direct replacement parts are supported through LWG.
