Description

Double your shop's productivity and eliminate workflow bottlenecks with the Vector 16" x 20" Double Station Auto Open Heat Press. Engineered for expanding print shops, apparel brands, and custom decorators across North America, this dual-station heat press allows operators to seamlessly load and prep garments on one station while the machine presses on the other.

Built on a smooth side-to-side base rail system, the two independent 16" x 20" lower platens create a continuous, highly efficient work cycle. Because loading occurs safely away from the upper heating platen, operators benefit from a comfortable, heat-free workspace when positioning garments, HTV, and DTF transfers. The integrated auto-open mechanism automatically releases the heating element when the press cycle completes, safeguarding products from over-curing and allowing operators to focus on garment prep without constant monitoring. Supported by a gas shock-assisted lifting system, the machine opens smoothly with minimal wear and physical strain.

The LWG Difference

When you source commercial heat presses and decorating machinery from Lawson Workhorse Group (LWG), you get far more than hardware—you gain an industry-leading technical partner backed by decades of screen printing and digital decorating expertise. Your investment is supported by our primary distribution hub in California alongside satellite technical service centers in St. Louis, Atlanta, Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines. From setup guidance to long-term replacement parts, LWG ensures your shop maintains maximum uptime and operational efficiency.

Features

  • Dual Sliding Station Layout: Maximizes production throughput by allowing operators to prep and align garments on one station while the press completes a cycle on the other.
  • Auto-Open Functionality: Releases automatically upon timer expiration to prevent garment scorching and operator fatigue.
  • Heat-Free Preparation Area: Dual sliding lower platens move clear of the upper heat platen for safer, easier garment dressing and transfer alignment.
  • Gas Shock Assistance: Heavy-duty gas springs ensure smooth, controlled opening to minimize wear and mechanical noise.
  • Digital Microprocessor Controller: Accurate digital controls provide precise dwell time and temperature management for consistent transfer quality.

Questions & Answers

How does the dual sliding station system increase shop efficiency?
The side-to-side shuttle design allows an operator to thread, center, and align a second garment on one lower platen while the upper heat element is actively pressing a garment on the other platen, eliminating machine idle time between transfers.

Does the Vector 16" x 20" Double Station Press require an air compressor?
No, this machine features manual clamping paired with an electromagnetic auto-open mechanism, operating completely without an external air compressor.

What are the safety benefits of the dual station design?
Garments and transfers are prepped on whichever lower platen is currently slid out to the side, completely away from the upper heating platen. This heat-free layout area minimizes operator contact with hot surfaces and protects hands from burns.

What transfer methods work best on this machine?
The press is fully optimized for Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV), screen printed transfers, white toner transfers, and dye sublimation on flat textiles.

Where does the Vector Double Station press ship from and how is technical support handled?
Orders ship directly from the primary distribution hub in California, supported by regional technical service and customer support teams across St. Louis, Atlanta, Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines.
