Prestige X6 Overview

The Prestige X6 is a 36-inch-class industrial Direct-to-Film printer for apparel decorators and transfer businesses with high-volume production requirements. It uses six Epson i3200 A1 printheads and supports a maximum printable width of 90 cm (35.4 inches).

Its expanded-color ink configuration combines Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Green, and Orange with White. These additional color inks support a broader range of colors and tonal reproduction than a CMYK-only color configuration.

Published printing speeds are 28.8 m² per hour (310 ft² per hour) at 4-pass, 720 x 1200 dpi settings and 16.4 m² per hour (manufacturer-listed as 176 ft² per hour) at 6-pass, 720 x 1800 dpi settings. Actual output depends on artwork, print settings, maintenance, and the complete production workflow.
