Questions & Answers

What is the main application for the Lawson V-Tech Lab Unit?

The V-Tech Lab Unit is specifically built for ink development laboratories, quality control departments, color-matching facilities, and small-format specialty production. It allows operators to run test batches and cure UV coatings without taking large industrial dryers offline.

Does this dryer require special water cooling lines?

No. Like the larger V-Tech series, the Lab Unit features an all-air-cooled design. This eliminates the maintenance overhead, water chillers, and plumbing requirements associated with liquid-cooled UV systems.

What electrical outlet is needed to run the Lab Unit?

The 6-inch belt model operates on a standard 120-volt electrical circuit, making it easy to plug in anywhere in your facility. The 12-inch model requires a standard 220-volt single-phase line.

Can Lawson build custom belt widths or conveyor lengths?

Yes. While 6" x 30" and 12" x 60" are the standard stock configurations, Lawson manufactures custom conveyor sizes and tailored UV lamp setups upon request to fit specific lab automation needs.
