Description

Looking to maximize production throughput and eliminate operator fatigue on high-volume apparel runs? The Hotronix® Air Fusion IQ® Heat Press by Stahls' Hotronix is the premier industrial pneumatic heat press engineered to handle heavy commercial output with effortless push-button operation. Equipped with a generous 16" x 20" upper platen, this air-powered machine delivers rock-solid, uniform pressure across every press cycle—making it the ultimate solution for applying DTF transfers, screen printed transfers, embroidered emblems, and dye sublimation.

The defining feature of the Air Fusion IQ is its hands-free pneumatic operation. With a simple two-button touch, the upper platen lowers smoothly, applies exact digital pressure, and then automatically swings open to create a completely safe, heat-free layout zone. Its patented Auto Adjust Pressure™ technology intelligently senses substrate thickness, making transitions between thin polyesters, heavy hoodies, and thick patches fully automated. Controlled by the cloud-connected Fusion IQ® Controller, shop owners can monitor operator efficiency, save custom application recipes, and ensure 100% repeatable output.

The LWG Difference

When you source commercial heat presses and decorating equipment from Lawson Workhorse Group (LWG), you get far more than hardware—you gain an industry-leading technical partner backed by decades of screen printing and digital decorating expertise. Your investment is supported by our primary headquarters in St. Louis, MO, and our regional branch in Atlanta / Marietta, GA, alongside satellite technical service centers in Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines. From setup guidance to long-term replacement parts, LWG ensures your shop maintains maximum uptime and operational efficiency.

Features

  • Hands-Free Pneumatic Action: Air-powered operation lowers and auto-swings the platen open with two-button safety activation to minimize fatigue.
  • Auto Adjust Pressure™ Technology: Automatically senses and adjusts top pressure for varying garment thicknesses without manual knobs.
  • Smart Fusion IQ Controller: Digital touchscreen interface allows programming of unlimited recipes and tracks real-time production analytics.
  • 16" x 20" Oversized Work Surface: Large platen area accommodates full-chest prints, oversized transfers, hoodies, and athletic jerseys.
  • Full Threadability™ Base: Thread garments onto the lower platen to isolate print areas and prevent back-of-shirt heat lines.
  • Quick Change Platen System: Effortlessly swap lower platens without tools to print sleeves, youth apparel, bags, caps, and shoes.

Questions & Answers

Where can I buy or pick up the Hotronix Air Fusion IQ Heat Press locally?

You can securely order online and choose fast, 1-hour local pickup - simply check local availability or contact us to confirm before heading over at either the Lawson Screen & Digital Products corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO (Penrose Street) or our Atlanta area branch in Marietta, GA (Cobb Industrial Drive). Local pickup can also be coordinated through our satellite offices in Phoenix, Orlando, and Des Moines.

What makes an air-operated heat press better than a manual swing-away press?

The air-powered pneumatic drive completely eliminates manual physical labor, dropping and locking the platen with the push of a button and automatically swinging open when the timer expires. This prevents over-application, reduces physical strain on employees, and yields completely uniform pressure from corner to corner every single cycle.

Does the Air Fusion IQ automatically adjust to different garment thicknesses?

Yes! Thanks to patented Auto Adjust Pressure™ technology, the machine automatically senses the thickness of the item on the lower platen—whether it's a thin summer t-shirt or a heavy winter hoodie—and applies the exact programmed pressure setting instantly without manual knob turning.

What models or configurations are available for this heat press?

Depending on your shop layout and spatial requirements, the machine is available in three flexible configurations: the freestanding Hotronix Pedestal Air Fusion, the Hotronix Tabletop Air Fusion (120V), or the heavy-duty Hotronix Tabletop Air Fusion (240V).

What are the data capabilities of the built-in Fusion IQ Controller?

The advanced Fusion IQ Controller features a crisp, digital touchscreen display that allows you to program multi-step time and pressure recipes. It connects seamlessly to wireless networks, enabling print shop owners to track operator efficiency, monitor real-time production stats, and troubleshoot performance metrics via a cloud-based web portal.

Can I finance the Hotronix Air Fusion IQ Heat Press?
