What is the difference between the "Swing" and "Draw" functions on this press?

This unique dual-function layout lets you choose how you work. The swing-away mode swings the heated upper platen completely out of the way for a 100% heat-free loading zone. The draw-style mode allows you to pull the lower platen out toward you like a drawer, which is excellent for faster production layouts in tight shop spaces where a swing-arm might be blocked.
