ThermoFlex Plus - CAD-Cut Vinyl for Heat Transfers

Application Instructions:

  • Prepare design as mirror image
  • Cut mirror image on plotter and weed/remove unwanted material
  • Position weeded design on shirt
  • Place Teflon sheet or silicone release sheet over the design
  • Press firm to hard pressure with a heat press at 345o to 350o F for 20 seconds
  • Rub design with pad or eraser while still hot
  • Remove the Teflon sheet
  • Remove the backing or the protective clear film from the fabric (Peel warm to cold) to finish the transfer process

Test these films with scrap materials prior to actual production!
Washing temperature: withstands medium to high wash and dry temperatures.

Decorate these materials: Cotton, cotton-poly, polyester, spandex, lycra, wool, linen and some athletic mesh garments - will NOT adhere to nylon.

Stock won't go to waste because it can also can be applied to cotton, cotton blend and polyester fabrics. You cut a mirror image, apply to the garment with a heat press and peel cold. It has also been proven successful on siliconized materials with sufficient surface texture for the adhesive to grip.

  • Prepare design as mirror image

  • Transfer requires 300oF to 315oF transfer temperatures for 4 to 6 seconds with firm pressure.

  • A release paper or Teflon sheet should always be placed between the heat platen and the plastic carrier sheet to prevent sticking and edge damage to the transferred design.

Safety Silver Reflective Protection Our brightest reflective film with actual glass beads produces a maximum reflectivity of 675 cd/lux/m2 and standard reflectivity of 560 cd/lux/m2. Computer-Cut, Heat-Transfer Reflective Film for use on Nylon and Heat Sensitive Fabrics. This is reason enough to get a vinyl cutter. Test before using and always seek appropriate approvals prior to production.

Reflective Ref-Lite - CAD-Cut Vinyl for Heat Transfers

Reflective Ref-Lite - CAD-Cut Vinyl for Heat Transfers Computer Cut reflective film with actual glass beads, for Use on Cotton/Cotton-Blend and Nylon Fabrics.



Application Instructions:

  • Prepare design as mirror image
  • Remove the protective film (usually blue but may be pink).
  • Plotter-cut Ref-lite 8500 series as mirror image through the micro glass bead reflective layer and thermo-sensitive adhesive to the clear film carrier. Use sharp knife. Cut to but not through the clear backing film.
  • Weed and remove unwanted material
  • Place Ref-lite adhesive side down on the fabric in the desired location. Press firmly with a hand iron or with a heat press at 275o to 305o F for 3 to 5 seconds to tack the Ref-lite to fabric. Do not use more pressure, temperature or dwell time than is recommended because the adhesive on the wedded backing may stick to fabric.
  • Remove the protective clear film from the fabric after it has cooled completely.
  • Place a Teflon coated protective sheet over the image and reheat at 275o to 305o F for 5 to 7 seconds. Let cool completely. Peel away Teflon sheet to finish the transfer process.

Test these films with scrap materials prior to actual production!

For best results, wash this product inside-out, gentle cycle, cool water, tumble dry.


DecoFilmTM - CAD-Cut Vinyl for Heat Transfers

DecoFilmTM - CAD-Cut Vinyl for Heat Transfers Super Gold - Super Silver says it all. These are bright shiny metallic that will adhere to most sportswear and t-shirt fabrics that can withstand 310oF to 330oF with firm pressure for 10-15 seconds during the transfer application.




Application Instructions:

  • Always cut in mirror images and peel cold.
  • A release paper or Teflon sheet should always be places between the heat platen and the plastic carrier sheet to prevent sticking and edge damage to the transferred design.
  • Turn garment inside out, wash cool and tumble dry.
