Description

The SAATI LTS E70B Direct Laser Screen Imaging & Exposure Machine is an industrial-grade, direct-laser computer-to-screen (CTS) imaging and exposure system engineered for high-volume commercial print shops, technical screen printers, and automated darkrooms. Designed for screen rooms in St. Louis, MO, Atlanta, GA, and across North America, the LTS E70B images and exposes screens up to 25" x 36" directly—eliminating film positives, vacuum frames, and consumable inks or waxes. Featuring a planar array of 64 high-precision UV lasers with selectable resolutions of 1270 and 2540 DPI, this self-contained vertical unit rapidly cures all stencil films and high-density emulsions with microscopic pixel placement. Driven by user-friendly RIP-compatible software and 1-bit TIFF workflows, the SAATI LTS E70B delivers ultra-high-definition halftone detail, perfect color-to-color registration, and drastically reduced screen preparation costs.

The LWG Difference

  • Local Fast Pickup & Demo Hubs: Inspect machinery in person or schedule rapid equipment pickup at regional facilities in St. Louis, MO or Atlanta / Marietta, GA.
  • Pure Direct-Laser Precision: 64-laser planar array exposes emulsion directly without glass reflection, vacuum draw-down holds, or ink/wax consumables.
  • Consumable-Free Cost Reduction: Eliminates expensive film rolls, inkjet cartridges, wax ribbons, and glass cleaning routines to maximize pre-press profit margins.
  • Direct USA Factory Backing: Supported by factory-trained technical specialists, quick-ship domestic spare parts, full 1-year warranty coverage, and flexible commercial financing options.

Features

  • Planar 64-Laser Exposure Engine: Delivers ultra-fast, thorough exposure cycles for all emulsion types, including high-density photopolymers and capillary films.
  • Selectable Dual Resolution (1270 / 2540 DPI): Toggle between standard and high-resolution modes for crisp vector lines, microscopic point text, and fine halftones.
  • Pneumatic Frame Clamping System: Automated pneumatic clamps hold screen frames up to 25" x 36" tightly in place for accurate registration.
  • Vertical Space-Saving Cabinet: Built-in safe view window allows operators to visually monitor the laser imaging process safely.
  • Low Power Consumption & High Efficiency: Operates on standard 110V power with minimal energy draw and long-life laser diodes for low maintenance overhead.

Comparison Table

Feature | SAATI LTS E70B Direct Laser Unit | CTS Inkjet / Wax Systems | Traditional Vacuum Glass Exposure
Imaging Technology | Pure UV laser array exposes emulsion directly with zero consumables | Prints ink or wax onto emulsion; requires separate post-exposure step | Requires expensive film positives, tape, and vacuum draw-down time
Resolution & Detail | Up to 2540 DPI with 64-laser precision for flawless halftone registration | Lower resolution limits; ink bleeding or wax flaking can blur fine halftone dots | Light undercutting and glass dust create pinholes and soft stencil edges
Operating Costs | Low power draw with zero film, ink, or wax costs per screen | Continuous recurring costs for specialized UV-blocking ink or wax ribbons | High costs for film rolls, chemical developers, and replacement lamps
Maintenance & Glass | Glass-free, fully enclosed cabinet with zero glass cleanup or static dust | Print heads clog frequently, requiring constant maintenance and cleaning cycles | Exposure glass attracts shop lint and static, requiring frequent manual cleaning

Questions & Answers

Q: Does the SAATI LTS E70B require film positives, wax, or inkjet consumables?
