Designed to solve the toughest pressure-uniformity challenges on both flatbed apparel and rigid substrates, this USA-made 1/2" thick Heat Felt acts as a resilient thermal cushion that wraps flawlessly around obstructions to deliver retail-ready results.
The primary manufacturing advantage of Geo Knight NOMEX Heat Felt is its advanced mechanical compliance. When placed on your lower platen, this dense yet pliable padding allows thick zippers, heavy sweatshirt seams, button down plackets, and pocket flaps to sink deeply into the pad. This molds the face fabric perfectly flat against the upper heating element, completely eliminating the pressure drop-offs and cold spots that cause transfer failure. Highly optimized for executing flawless sublimation on ceramic photo tiles, direct-to-film (DTF) applications, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), and screen printed transfers, it distributes down-force evenly across variable surfaces. Furthermore, because it is composed of genuine, high-grade Nomex material, it withstands extreme production temperatures without breaking down, off-gassing, or scorching.
Available in a wide range of precut table footprints or by the continuous yard, this reusable pad can be easily trimmed down with a razor blade to accommodate custom fixture sizes.
