What is the xTool O1 Omni Printer?
The xTool O1 Omni Printer is a desktop printing platform available in Single UV, Dual-Head UV and UV + DT Fabric editions. Its capabilities depend on the selected printhead and ink configuration.
Does every xTool O1 edition support all four printing methods?
No. Only the UV + DT Fabric Edition supports UV, UV DTF, DTG and textile DTF workflows. UV DTF requires a laminator, and textile printing requires additional finishing equipment and consumables.
Can the xTool O1 print on T-shirts?
Yes, the UV + DT Fabric Edition supports DTG and textile DTF workflows for compatible garments. The Single UV and Dual-Head UV editions do not include those textile-printing capabilities.
Can I upgrade the Single UV Edition later?
No. xTool states that each edition is factory-configured with its own printhead and ink system and cannot be upgraded into another edition.
Which edition supports fluorescent printing?
The Dual-Head UV Edition supports fluorescent red and fluorescent yellow inks. The UV + DT Fabric and Single UV editions do not support those fluorescent inks.
What is the largest listed print bed?
The large print bed measures 330 × 420 mm, or approximately 13 × 16.5 inches. The UV + DT Fabric Edition’s DTG platen measures 300 × 390 mm. Confirm which components your selected package includes.
Does the O1 need a heat press?
Textile DTF production requires curing and heat pressing after printing and powder application. For DTG, xTool recommends heat pressing to prepare the garment and cure the printed ink.
Can the O1 print on tumblers?
The O1 ecosystem includes the OR1 rotary attachment for compatible cups and other rotary applications. Check accessory compatibility and object limits before promising support for a specific tumbler.
Is the xTool O1 maintenance-free?
No. It includes automated white-ink stirring, circulation and printhead moisture protection, but these features should not be presented as eliminating maintenance.
