Questions & Answers

What type of screen printing ink is Gold DI-900 LB?
Gold DI-900 LB is a low-bleed, low-cure Dynamic plastisol screen printing ink matched to Pantone 1235C, designed for opaque gold prints on polyester, 50/50 blends, and other fabrics.

What fabrics is this ink best suited for?
This ink is great for all polyester and other bleed-prone garments and can also be used on many cotton and cotton-blend fabrics; for soft-hand coverage, Lawson recommends 196 to 305 monofilament mesh, and you should always pretest before full production.

What are the recommended flash and cure temperatures?
Flash Gold DI-900 LB at approximately 220°F for 3–5 seconds, then fully cure at 270–280°F to achieve optimal adhesion, durability, and low-bleed performance.

Is this ink press-ready and safe to use?
Yes. Dynamic inks are non-phthalate and lead-free, with a creamy, press-ready consistency straight from the bucket, so you can get on press quickly without heavy modification in most setups.

Can I use this ink for print-flash-print and wet-on-wet?
Absolutely. The ink flashes quickly for print-flash-print over a white underbase, and it can also be run wet-on-wet depending on your mesh, artwork, and press setup—always pretest your process to dial in best results.

How do I clean up after printing with this ink?
Use Thinner DT or any conventional plastisol press wash for on-press color changes, and an ink degrader when reclaiming screens; you can either save the stencil or fully reclaim the entire frame.

Q: Do you offer local pickup in St. Louis, MO and Marietta, GA?
A: Yes. Gold DI-900 LB is available for pickup at our St. Louis, MO headquarters and our Marietta, GA Atlanta-area office, where orders are usually ready in about one hour, along with convenient nationwide shipping options.

How should I store this ink for best results?
Store the ink at room temperature in a relatively cool area below 95°F, away from extreme heat and direct sunlight, and use within one year of the manufacturing date for consistent printing performance.

Dynamic Ink Gold DI-900 LB (Pantone 1235C) is a low-bleed, low-cure plastisol screen printing ink that delivers bright, opaque gold coverage on polyester, 50/50 blends, and other challenging “bleeder” fabrics. Curing at just 270–280°F, this low-cure ink helps eliminate dye migration while providing excellent opacity, smooth coverage, and a soft-hand finish on performance and everyday apparel. With a semi-gloss finish and creamy, press-ready consistency, Gold DI-900 LB is ideal for sportswear, spirit wear, and fashion prints that need clean, high-visibility gold on dark or synthetic garments.

All inks in the Dynamic Series are non-phthalate and lead-free, offering vibrant colors and a plastisol body that prints smoothly straight from the bucket. Gold DI-900 LB flashes quickly, allowing you to run print-flash-print or wet-on-wet production when printing over a white underbase, depending on your artwork and mesh selection. Use any standard direct emulsion or capillary film stencil system, enjoy minimal ink build-up on screen, and get excellent mileage—approximately 800–1,750 sq. ft. per gallon—across a wide range of garments. Cleanup is easy using Thinner DT or any conventional plastisol wash-up system and an ink degrader, so you can either save the stencil or fully reclaim the frame.

Lawson ships Gold DI-900 LB to screen printers nationwide and offers fast local pickup at our St. Louis, MO headquarters and Marietta, GA Atlanta-area office, where most orders are ready in about one hour after processing. Whether your shop is in the St. Louis or Atlanta metro areas, or anywhere across the United States, this low-cure gold plastisol ink provides the opacity, bleed resistance, and reliable performance you need for professional screen printing results.
