Questions & Answers

What type of screen printing ink is Pale Yellow DI-904?
Pale Yellow DI-904 is a low-cure Dynamic plastisol screen printing ink matched to Pantone 393C, designed for semi-opaque pale yellow prints with fair to good bleed resistance on polyester, 50/50 blends, and other fabrics.

What fabrics is this ink best suited for?
This ink can be used on a wide range of fabrics, including polyester, blends, and cotton; for soft-hand coverage, Lawson recommends 196 to 305 monofilament mesh, and you should always pretest to confirm suitability and procedures.

What are the recommended flash and cure temperatures?
Flash at approximately 220°F for 3–5 seconds, then fully cure Pale Yellow DI-904 at 270–280°F to achieve optimal adhesion and low-cure performance.

Is this ink press-ready and safe to use?
Yes. Dynamic inks are non-phthalate and lead-free, with a creamy, press-ready consistency that prints smoothly straight from the bucket, minimizing the need for heavy modification.

Can I use this ink for print-flash-print and wet-on-wet?
Absolutely. Pale Yellow DI-904 flashes quickly, making it suitable for print-flash-print over a white underbase, and it can also be run wet-on-wet depending on your design, mesh, and press setup—always pretest before full production.

How do I clean up after printing with this ink?
Use Thinner DT or any conventional plastisol press wash for on-press color changes, and an ink degradant when reclaiming screens; you can either save the stencil or fully reclaim the frame based on your workflow.

Do you offer local pickup in St. Louis, MO and Marietta, GA?
Yes. Pale Yellow DI-904 is available for pickup at our St. Louis, MO headquarters and our Marietta, GA Atlanta-area office, where orders are usually ready in about one hour, along with convenient nationwide shipping options.

How should I store this ink for best results?
Store the ink at room temperature below 95°F, away from extreme heat and direct sunlight, and use within one year of the manufacturing date for consistent printing performance.

Dynamic Ink Pale Yellow DI-904 (Pantone 393C) is a low-cure plastisol screen printing ink that delivers soft, semi-opaque pale yellow coverage on polyester, 50/50 blends, and other fabrics. Curing at just 270–280°F, this ink helps minimize dye migration on challenging “bleeder” garments while maintaining a smooth, soft-hand feel. With fair to good bleed resistance and semi-gloss finish, Pale Yellow DI-904 is ideal for highlight colors, fashion prints, and underbase work where subtle, clean pale yellow tones are needed.

All inks in the Dynamic Series are non-phthalate and lead-free, offering a creamy, press-ready consistency straight from the bucket for efficient production. Pale Yellow DI-904 flashes quickly, so you can run print-flash-print or wet-on-wet techniques depending on your artwork and mesh counts. Use with any standard direct emulsion or capillary film stencil system, enjoy minimal ink build-up on screen, and get excellent mileage—approximately 800–1,750 sq. ft. per gallon—across a variety of garments. Clean-up is simple with Thinner DT or your preferred conventional plastisol wash-up system and ink degradant.

Lawson ships Pale Yellow DI-904 to screen printers nationwide and offers convenient local pickup at our St. Louis, MO headquarters and Marietta, GA Atlanta-area office, where most orders are ready in about one hour after processing. Whether your shop is in the St. Louis or Atlanta metro areas, or anywhere across the United States, this low-cure pale yellow plastisol ink gives you reliable performance, soft color, and consistent results on a range of textile screen printing jobs.
