Ulano Blue Photopolymer Emulsion | High-Performance Screen Printing

Ulano Blue is a ready-to-use, ultra-fast-exposing SBQ photopolymer direct emulsion formulated for imprinted sportswear printing. It resists plastisol inks, including aggressive post-phthalate plastisols, and most wash-up solvents, making it exceptionally easy to reclaim in automatic equipment or by hand.

Optimized for fixed or scanning LED units, fluorescent tubes, or other low-intensity light sources, Ulano Blue is ideal for shops requiring high stencil-making throughput. Its high viscosity (6,000–8,000 centipoise) enhances control during manual coating, while its high solids content provides exceptional emulsion-over-mesh (EOM) thickness per coat, improved mesh bridging on coarse mesh, sharp edge definition, and fast drying. Stencils are durable, non-tacky in high-humidity conditions, have excellent wet strength, and are easy to wash out. A superior alternative to Chromaline Blue, Ulano Blue exposes faster and is less prone to pinholes.

Features:

  • Ultra-Fast Exposure: Efficient with fixed or scanning LED units, ensures thorough exposure even with weak light sources, and supports fast stencil throughput for high-volume shops.
  • High Viscosity (6,000–8,000 centipoise): Provides excellent coating control, especially on coarse mesh.
  • Ink and Solvent Resistance: Resists plastisol inks, including aggressive post-phthalate plastisols, and most wash-up solvents.
  • Durability: Dependable polymerization ensures durable stencils with excellent wet strength and resistance to high humidity.
  • Easy Reclamation: Simple to wash out with automatic or manual screen cleaning equipment.
  • Shelf Life: 1 year unopened when stored at 70°F (21°C).
