Direct to Film (DTF) Classes

Lawson's DTF classes are a gateway to mastering the latest in Direct to Film technology, combining in-depth instruction with practical, hands-on training. Whether you're new to DTF printing or looking to refine your skills, this course is tailored to meet your needs. Each session covers both fundamental concepts and advanced techniques, ensuring all participants leave with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the DTF industry.

Art-Smart: 1 Day Screen & Digital Printing Artwork Class

Learn the basics of using Photoshop and CorelDraw to make film positives and color separations for screen printing. This course provides 1-on-1 instruction to learn how to maximize art programs for designing tshirts and other garments. This class is tailored for beginner screen and/or digital printers.

1 Day Dark Garment Screen Printing Class

A completely hands-on course for screen printing dark garments including a general question and answer session. Small class size limited to 8 students ensures plenty of press time. Learn advanced techniques for producing superior screen printed shirts. This is especially useful for those printing complex high-color shirts, simulated process and CMYK process silkscreen printing.

1 Day Automatic Screen Printing Class

This intensive one-day workshop features small class size, lots of "hands-on" experience working on a Lawson Express-EX Automatic, and a general question and answer session. These silkscreen classes teach you printing on an automatic machine, from screen creation and registration to production printing and workflow maximization. This course comes free when you purchase one of Lawson's automatic screen printing machines.

1 Day Digital / Sublimation Printing Class

Intensive seminar/workshop on "digital basics" for those looking to get into digital printing, including sublimation and direct-to-garment (DTG) and vinyl. Topics covered will include DTG printing, vinyl cutting, ink-jet and laser printing, sublimation transfers, Q & A's and more. A great class for those looking to explore the digital side of making t-shirts. Classes are limited in size so we can tailor each class to your preferences.
