How To Use Your Dip Tank the Proper Way

Streamline your screen cleaning process and get back what matters most - your time!

1. Prep Like a Pro

  • Remove tape and scrape off excess ink before putting your screen in the dip tank.
  • This prevents gunk build-up and ensures optimal cleaning

2. Dip & Dwell

  • Submerge the screen in the dip tank filled with a pre-mixed solution of One-Step Dip Tank Solution (1 part) and water (7 parts).
  • Let it soak for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, allowing the solution to break down ink and emulsion.

3. Rinse & Blast

  • Pull out the screen, tilting it to drain excess solution back into the tank.
  • Blast both sides (substrate side first) with a high-pressure washer to remove loosened ink & emulsion.

4. Final Touches

  • Spray both sides with ID-360 Ink Degradent & Stain Remover.
  • Use small circular motions to scrub any remaining ink or stains. This powerful formula tackles even the toughest residues.
  • Power wash the screen again to ensure a spotless clean.

5. Rinse

  • Throughly rinse the screen.
  • End with a low-pressure flood rinse until all bubbles are gone and water flows smoothly.

6. Inspect & Dry

  • Hold the screen up to a light source to confirm at 100% clean surface.
  • Use the Pro-Cure Screen Dryer for a cleaner and faster dry.
